The conception
of a god ruler, regent of an earthly world, distinct and inferior to the Almighty and Absolute God, remounts to early Christianity.
     For
the Gnostic Christians, especially for Marcion, this demi-god was Jehovah (Yahweh), which corresponds to the Platonic Demiurge, also known as Cosmocrator or Ialdabaoth.
     Deciphering
this character with theological arguments is a fascinating challenge that arouses the interest of those who appreciate the profound and impartial study of the biblical mysteries.

Incoherent God???

 Not at all!!!

God's seemingly dubious behavior was analyzed over different historical periods, before and after the advent of Jesus Christ.
Through a comparative evaluation between the Old and New Testament models, it can be concluded that there is no compatibility between the behavior of the one who in the past identified himself as Yahweh (JHVH) and the behavior of God the Father (ABBA), who presented himself to men through his Son, Jesus Christ.
The concept of an incoherent God has been demystified against the attacks of questioning skeptics, which are based on an alleged identification between God the Father and the god of absurdity and inconsistency - Yahweh.
In God the Father there is no evidence of a psychopathy, which is often seen in the attitudes of Yahweh, the tribal god of Israel.
Such radical attitudes, such as authorizing violent retaliation, punishing adulterers and disobedient stoning, strengthening armies, exterminating the masses of people, including innocent children, curses on descendants, racial discrimination, and many other aberrations, abound in Yahweh, which was transmitted through Moses.
My purpose in this analysis was to provide a coherent answer to the questioners who criticize God the Father for these incompatibilities as well as for every adversity that comes upon humanity.
Thus, the idea that God is a grumpy, angry old man who is in heaven controlling "puppets" and prevailing his whims and desires, falls completely flat because this image does not correspond to reality.
On the other hand, the image of a bipolar God, who sometimes acts favorably to men and sometimes unfavorably toward humanity, makes it appear as if God had an ambiguous personality, sometimes good and sometimes bad, depending on the circumstances. circumstances.
That would certainly be the image one could have of God if the Bible were restricted exclusively to the thirty-nine books of the Old Testament.
This conflict between the behavior of the confused god of Moses and the authentic God presented by Jesus led many disappointed Christians to other religions, philosophies, or even atheism.
Although some dualistic concepts presented in this analysis are not part of traditional Christian theology, they were previously proposed through the philosophy of Plato, where the existence of a Demiurge, artificer of the material world, was admitted.
Later, these kinds of concepts were also defended by Marcion, Valentin, and other forerunners of the Gnostic Movement (Gnosticism) throughout the early centuries of Christianity, who associated this Demiurge with Yahweh.
After this, during the Middle Ages, some similar teachings were part of the doctrines adopted by the Cathars, also called Albingenses, who called this artificer Satanael, claiming that this would have usurped God's place in the rulership of the material world.
Yaldabaoth, Samael, Saklas and Cosmocrator were designations associated with this character who interfered with the creation of the cosmos in a negative way.
In turn, the Greek philosopher Carpocrates said that the world was made by angels.
The main reason that led me to write a book on this subject is because of my dissatisfaction with the passivity of many traditional Christians, who remain silent when facing atheist and agnostic opponents for lack of good arguments.
Thus, the paradigms of religions that are not reviewing their concepts and values will be unmasked by the straightforward approach of this study, free of prejudice and without concern to please anyone.
And so, a subject that has been abandoned for many centuries is once again studied with due seriousness.
All those who are interested in studying the Bible through an unbiased and unbiased view can delve into these unexplored and controversial issues.

Inconsistent God?  Absolutely not!

The main thesis of this analysis consists in the fact that the true God Father is totally just and consistent, remaining that way for all eternity, even though the Scriptures seem to show a different god, especially if we see from the perspective of the Old Testament. Traditional Christian theology has been exempt from investigating these contradictions with the adoption of the argument that God's behavior has been changed over time due to God's need to relate to humanity in different circumstances.

To support this argument, Catholic and Protestant scholars divide the history of mankind into several chronological periods, where God would have behaved differently in each of them, towards a final goal that will culminate in the so-called "last days". In this work, I was concerned to show that God's behavior cannot change throughout history, because if God did so, He would be fickle, which contradicts the attribute of divine immutability, which is mentioned in Hebrews 13: 8 …  Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.

In saying that the behaviors of God observed throughout the biblical accounts are different, I also try to show that the motivations and purposes are different, when Jehovah (Yahweh) and the God Father are comparatively analyzed, even if theologians claim to be the same person, that is, the same God. If we compare the attitudes and behavior of Jehovah (YHWH), which was revealed by Moses in the Old Testament, with the attitudes and behavior of God the Father (ABBA), which was revealed by Jesus Christ in the New Testament, we see a remarkable difference.

On the one hand, we see that Jehovah showed a violent nature, since he led the Jewish people into bloody battles, granting them victories over nations and armies, when the kings of Israel were obedient to the precepts of the Mosaic law. However, when people were rebellious and disobedient to the law, Jehovah acted unfavorably to Israel, allowing tragic defeats against their enemies. On the other hand, we see God the Father presented by Jesus always compassionate and loving, being invariably more forgiving than punishing, as we read in 2 Peter 3:9 … God is patient with us, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.

Another great difference is that Jehovah always revealed an exclusivist sympathy for Israel, whereas God the Father is always impartial and does not reveal special predilection by anyone.

Jehovah authorized reprisal and vengeance on the basis of "an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth" (Exodus 21: 23-25), which is also called "Law of the Talion", whereas Jesus taught his disciples to relieve offenses and forgive Crimes (Matthew 5: 38-42). When asked about the authority to teach things different from what the law of Moses taught, Jesus claimed that he had received those teachings directly from his heavenly Father. At the time of his ministry, Jesus made it clear that everything he taught and preached to men was according to what he had received directly from God the Father.

By reading in the Bible that Jesus came to fulfill the Old Testament law (Matthew 5:17), we must understand that he came to give a meaning that the Old Testament law never had, because the law considered vital matters related to the soul and the eternal destiny, only in the ambit of a religiosity of appearances. Thus, for example, we see Jehovah authorizing the stoning of the disobedient to his commandments, whereas Jesus forgave an adulteress who was about to be stoned, as prescribed in the Old Testament law (John 8: 1-11).
